about

This music is featured with the main character's exposition following a brief intro sequence. It is an arrangement of a song originally written by Maury Laws and Jules Bass, and featured in the 1980 Lord of the Rings animated movie. In this arrangement, I wanted to remain true to the sound of the original piece, while interspersing my own original material throughout the track.

Here is a link to the original song for comparison: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdXQJS3Yv0Y

lyrics

Where there's a whip, there's a way
We don't wanna go to war today
But the Lord of the Lash says "Nay nay nay!"
We're gonna march all day, all day, all day
Where there's a whip there's a way
Left, right, left, right, left...

The crack on the back says we're gonna fight
We're gonna march all day all night and more
'Cause we are the slaves of the dark lord's war
