about

This is a track from the second game I worked on at the 2012 Global Game Jam. The game, entitled "Spectrum", is a simple is a visually abstract color matching puzzle game. The soundtrack for gameplay is very ambient and minimalist, based around a low electronic drone. This track is what plays when you successfully complete a level. The idea was to completely contrast the quiet subtlety of gameplay music with an intense, bombastic celebration while the screen fills with colored particles. More information on the game and a complete post mortem on the music can be found at www.whiletruefork.com. Additional information and downloads of the Cleveland Game Developer entries in the 2012 Global Game Jam can be found at archive.globalgamejam.org/og/games/17237/list.
