Masks has been described by creator Mike Geig as "a mixture between classic Legend of Zelda and Hotline Miami." The goal is straightforward - you kill ghosts and progress to the end of a dungeon. The play mechanics are more unique and complex as you must switch between wearing one of four colored masks that correspond to enemy colors. It's a fast, visceral, fun game that is greatly complimented by the music. In addition to enemies and obstacles changing, each mask triggers it's own unique music track. The green mask features an orchestral waltz, and I attempted to convey a dignified, yet somewhat sinister quality to compliment the darkness of the game. It was somewhat inspired by "Waltz No. 2" from the Jazz Suite by Dimitri Shostakovich. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UIHl0oJEpg
