In case you haven't read the description of the extended version, this track was composed for an game called Karyote created by indie developer Chris Sanyk. In the game you swim about as a micro-organism and you must eat other organisms to grow or die. This version is what you hear in the game, and it is identical to the extended version except for the ending, which I altered in order to loop more smoothly during gameplay. The ending bars of the extended version were used as "Game Over" music, while the ending of this version moves more quickly to a large final cadence before looping back to the beginning. While I prefer the extended version as a pure listening experience, I included this version to illustrate how I made practical adjustments in order for the music to better suit the needs of the game.
