about

This was one of the last tracks I wrote in my frantic push to finish everything I had committed to by the 3 pm deadline on Sunday. I wrote it for Mike Geig's mystery game that I previously mentioned in the description of "Gurdy yer Loins". So it turned out at the final presentations that Mike had created "Sack Tapper", a tablet game in which you use swiping motions to "tap" another player in their virtual groin. This music plays during regular gameplay, and when a player wins/loses (doesn't everyone lose at that game?) "Gurdy Yer Loins" plays as a final coda to the experience.

Apparently his goal was to create the most low brow game possible and present it immediately after the game Drawn to You in a friendly competition to upstage the latter game's depth and poignancy. It would have been a funny juxtaposition, but the presentation order was switched around at the last minute and the joke was lost. *cues viking hurdy gurdy to mourn the lost joke*
