about

This album is a compilation of all of the music I created for nine diverse games during the 2015 Global Game Jam. This is my fourth year participating in the Global Game Jam as a composer. During this event, which takes place simultaneously in 63 countries, programmers, writers, artists, and musicians work in teams (or solo) to create games over a 48 hour period. Each year participants are challenged to base their games on a specific theme, and the theme for this year's event was the phrase "What do we do now?"

I began writing this music on Friday January 23rd and finished by Sunday January 25th, having put in roughly 18 hours of composition and recording over the course of the weekend. As with years past, each game has unique technical and stylistic musical requirements. I look forward to the Global Game Jam every year as it is a terrific test of my ability to balance multiple projects, to push myself to meet tight deadlines, and to trust my creative instincts. Feel free to download any of these tracks for free, but payment of any amount is always graciously accepted. I hope you enjoy this music.
